Justin and Tonya Harris

Dear Partners in Ministry,                                                     Feb 15, 2012

Let me provide you with a quick update of what God has been doing in our ministry here. Next letter, I'll send more details concerning seminary and the family.

- I am still discipling Donovan from work. He will soon be baptized and he has already taken the membership class at church. Currently, he is enrolled in a class entitled "Fundamentals of the Faith" where he is receiving a basic overview of the core doctrines of the Christian faith. Also, Tonya will begin discipling Danielle (Donovan's girlfriend) as schedules allow. Danielle serves as a registered nurse working night shift at a hospital in Simi Valley. Therefore, their time in getting together is rather sporadic. So pray for our joint efforts as we seek to shepherd this couple.

- Tonya and I still serve faithfully together in the Member's Center, interviewing prospective members about their testimony and explaining to them the significance of church membership. Also, I am currently in talks with one of the pastors at Grace about ministering on a more regular basis at the church. Pray that God gives me wisdom concerning whether or not I should take this opportunity in light of my already loaded schedule.

- Finally, I'm teaching a 5 week Bible study at our home entitled "From Now 'til 'I Do.'" It's basically a study on how a single believer intending on marriage can glorify God through their relationships with the opposite sex. Ephesians 5:22–33 and 1 Thessalonians 4:1–8 serve as the basis for these interactive expositions. The Lord has provided us with great group of participants ranging from 17–28 years of age. Pray that God would use His Word mightily in the lives of these singles.
